PL/SQL API jcs.get_credential_password
Summary
Get the (encoded) password for a given credential. You need to provide a full key and you need to have access to the credential.
Specification
function get_credential_password(p_partition in varchar2,
p_protocol in varchar2,
p_system in varchar2,
p_user in varchar2)
return varchar2
Parameters
- p_partition - the partition of the credentia
- p_protocol - the protocol used (e.g. WIN, UNIX, VMS)
- p_system - the name of the system
- p_user - the OS username
- returns varchar2 - username set with jcs.setuser
note
For most protocols the system name must be the FQDN (fully qualified domain name)
