Brief Description

The process definition reads an SAP layout defined for a particular SAP transaction and extracts details of the layout columns of the report, row definition, short texts, medium texts, long texts of the columns in the report, the SAP data types and the number of columns in the report.

This process definition is used in combination with the process definition FCA_SAP_Convert_Spool_To_RTX is used to convert a table in SAP spool into RTX format and prepare it for further processing.

Parameter Mapping - Generic Tabs

There are several tabs under this section. Some will be generic, and others are specific to the component. The generic tabs usually are:

• Parameters: Requires SAP and Client information as well as the ABAP Program Name and the layout to be reported on. Additionally, a table name can be entered and the SAP username if the layout is a user specific layout (not recommended).
