Importing Process Chains
You import process chains to be able to select them in a LOV menu; this not only avoids typos, it also allows you to select the process chain from a list without typing the full name.
Using process definitions
The following process definitions allows you to import process chains:
- SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains - used to import the process chain to fill LOV's, allows you to also import the definition of the process chain which allows you to modify it.SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains Parameters

Procedure
Importing SAP Process Chains
- Navigate to "Definitions > Processes".
- Choose Submit from the context-menu of the process definition SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains.
- Fill the fields and choose Submit.
- Choose Submit.

- Navigate to "Definitions > Processes".
- Choose Submit from the context-menu of the process definition SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains.
- Select the SAP System
PR1, Technical Name of SAP BW Process ChainOTCT_*, leave the other parameters at the default value. - Choose Submit.
