Privileges Required to use Core Platform Functions
To use Core Platform Functions definitions, you need one of the following:
scheduler-administrator
orredwood-administrator
role- system or partition-level permissions
- object-specific privileges
Using Definitions
The following privilege ranks are required for the definitions:
- View - on partitions GLOBAL, REDWOOD and the partition(s) of the queue and process server.
- View - on the application GLOBAL.Redwood.REDWOOD.Core_Platform_Functions.
- Submit - on process definitions REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_CopyFile, REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_DeleteFile, REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_DirectoryListing, and/or REDWOOD.Redwood_Core_MoveFile.
- Submit and View - allows you to submit and view processes in the queue used by the platform agent.
- View - on the process server used by the platform agent.
You always need View privileges on the partition of the Queue.
Built-in Roles
- The
scheduler-administrator
orredwood-administrator
built-in role provides full control over Queues. - The
scheduler-viewer
built-in role provides read-only access to Queues.
