Process Forecasting
Process Forecasting allows you to get an overview over processes submitted in the future and recurrences, submitted with submit frame. You use it to plan processes.
The forecast is generated each time you open the forecast tab, when you close the tab, the data is not persisted. You can forecast selected processes, processes in a filter on the Chains Monitor tab, or system-wide. When you start the forecast, you select a start and end date/time.
Depending on the date-range, the forecast will display existing as well as deleted processes.
note
The maximum number of processes that can be displayed in a forecast is set to 5000
.
note
Forecasting can get expensive in terms of server resources when you run a forecast on many processes with different submit frames.
You open the forecast tab by select a process in the Chains Monitor and choosing Forecast Processes.
Processes that occur in intervals of less than 5 minutes are grouped, the status of the forecast is marked Frequency Forecast in this case.
