Importing PeopleSoft Workload

You import PeopleSoft workload by submitting the System_PeopleSoft_ProgramImport process definition. The process definition retrieves the available Process Types from the remote PeopleSoft system and presents them in a list of values control for you to choose from.

Prerequisites

• Running process server connected to an Oracle PeopleSoft system.

Procedure

Importing PeopleSoft Programs

1. Navigate to "Definitions > Processes".
2. Choose Submit from the context-menu of the System_PeopleSoft_ProgramImport process definition.
3. Select the PeopleSoft system from which you wish to import programs.
4. Select a Process Type and Process Name, these are retrieved from the PeopleSoft system.
5. On the Generation Settings tab, specify a partition and application; if you have modified programs in PeopleSoft and wish to re-import, select Yes for the Overwrite Existing Process Definition? parameter.
6. Choose Next.
7. On the Time and Dates page, leave the default value of Once and choose Next.
8. The default queue of your PeopleSoft system is already selected, choose Submit.

Importing PeopleSoft Reports

1. Navigate to "Definitions > Processes".
2. Choose Submit from the context-menu of the System_PeopleSoft_ProgramImport process definition.
3. Select the PeopleSoft system from which you wish to import programs.
4. Select a Process Type and Process Name, these are retrieved from the PeopleSoft system.
5. On the Generation Settings tab, specify a partition and application; if you have modified programs in PeopleSoft and wish to re-import, select Yes for the Overwrite Existing Process Definition? parameter.
6. Choose Next.
7. On the Time and Dates page, leave the default value of Once and choose Next.
8. The default queue of your PeopleSoft system is already selected, choose Submit.
