public interface MonitorLink
extends Monitor, Readable

Monitor that links to a linkedmonitor A monitorlink is used to reuse a part of the monitor tree in several locations by linking to them. Severities that came from the subtree will be propagated onto the parent.

Method Detail

getLinkedLinkableMonitor

LinkableMonitor getLinkedLinkableMonitor()

Get the LinkedLinkableMonitor.

Returns:

LinkedLinkableMonitor

Throws:

ObjectDeletedException - If this method is called when the object has been marked for deletion.

ObjectNotAttachedToSessionException - If this method is called when the object has been removed from it's session.

setLinkedLinkableMonitor

void setLinkedLinkableMonitor(LinkableMonitor newLinkedLinkableMonitor)

Set the value for LinkedLinkableMonitor. This value is mandatory.

Parameters:

newLinkedLinkableMonitor - is the object to set LinkedLinkableMonitor to. To which LinkableMonitor Object does this MonitorLink point to? If this is null, then the object cannot be persisted.
