Housekeeping Dashboard

The housekeeping dashboard provides real-time information on housekeeping health for number of unreplied operator messages and user messages, of audit entries, of pending events, of unused process definitions, and of unscheduled housekeeping processes. By default, all are displayed, you can select which monitors to display in the ''user configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.

Prerequisites

  • Housekeeping_Dashboard global privilege.

Operator Messages

A great number of unreplied operator messages can indicate a problem, as these are generated for operator intervention. When the number of unreplied operator messages reaches 50, the monitor will be marked orange, when the number reaches 100, the monitor will be marked red, by default.

You can change the thresholds in the ''Unreplied operator messages'' section of the ''global configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.

User Messages

A great number of unreplied user messages can indicate a problem, as these are generated for user intervention. When there are one or more unreplied user messages older than 3 months, the monitor will be marked orange, when the number reaches 5, the monitor will be marked red, by default.

You can change the thresholds in the ''Unreplied user messages'' section of the ''global configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.

Audit Entries

A great number of audit entries can negatively impact performance; by default, when your system has audit entries that are older than one month and there are more than 50000 audit entries, the monitor will be marked orange. It will be marked red once the system reaches 10000 audit entries, by default. You can change the thresholds in the ''Audit entries'' section of the ''global configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.

Events

A great number of pending events can indicate a problem. When the number reaches 20 and there is a pending event older than 1 minute, the monitor will be marked orange, when the number reaches 50, the monitor will be marked red, by default.

You can change the thresholds in the ''Pending events'' section of the ''global configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.

Unused Definitions

A great number of unused definitions can cause performance issues. When the number reaches 5, the monitor will be marked orange, when the number reaches 25 or there is a definition that has not been used in the last 3 months, the monitor will be marked red, by default.

You can change the thresholds in the ''Unused definitions'' section of the ''global configuration'' of the housekeeping monitor; the settings are accessible using the [i] button.
